What is the difference between AquaBliss SF100 and SF220?

The SF100 uses 12 filtration stages while the SF220 uses 20 stages. Both remove chlorine, heavy metals and bacteria, but the SF220 also targets VOCs and has a longer cartridge life (6–8 months vs. 6 months for the SF100).

How often do I replace the AquaBliss filter cartridge?

AquaBliss recommends replacing the cartridge every 6 months, or every 10,000–12,000 gallons of water, whichever comes first. The SF220 cartridge can last 6–8 months at average household usage.

Does AquaBliss work with any shower head?

Yes. The SF100, SF220 and SF500 all use a standard 1/2-inch NPT fitting and install inline between your shower arm and any shower head. The process takes under 5 minutes with no special tools.

Is AquaBliss good for hard water?

AquaBliss filters reduce chlorine, chloramines, sulfur and heavy metals but do not soften hard water (calcium/magnesium). For hard water areas, the SF500 HD with its KDF-55 stage addresses scale build-up better than lower models.
